• Exceptional Comfort and Flexibility: The Nucleon PLASMA Back Protector is made from USDA-certified bio-based viscoelastic material. Designed for multi-directional flexibility, the protector molds to the body for a snug fit, effectively dissipating impact energy to provide reliable protection. Lightweight and highly ventilated, this protector offers strong dispersion and absorption of impact force while ensuring maximum coverage area in all riding positions.
• Lightweight, Ultra-Ventilated Chest Armor: The chest's outer shell design is based on geodesic polyhedra, and like a geodesic dome, less material is needed to achieve the desired structural strength and load-bearing performance than flat or non-faceted surfaces. This results in a protector where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, making the new A-4 PLASMA Chest Protector extremely lightweight and ventilated.
• Premium Comfort: The flexible, over-injected side wings of the chest protector perfectly follow the contours of the body for superior comfort and freedom of movement.
• Optional Race Kit: Designed to be compatible with the Nucleon PLASMA Extended Coverage kit which includes Upper and Lower Chest Extensions and an additional Y-System, allowing riders to use the A-4 Chest Protector without the back protector.
• Rib and Shoulder Coverage: The A-4 PLASMA Chest Protector features highly perforated, adjustable and removable rib and shoulder padding for additional coverage against roost and impacts.
• Compatible with BNS via the BNS elastic tabs located on the soft, removable thermoformed shoulder straps.
