PRODUCT CONCEPT
The AX-8 EVO is the new top of fiber range for professional use cross, based on the AX-8 base and
further refined thanks to the collaboration with AGV drivers of the Cross, Enduro and European Supermotard Championships
such as David Philippaerts, Deny Philippaerts, Gautier Paulin, Dawid Ciucci, Davide Gozzini, Maurizio Magherini, Andrea
Cervellin and Supercross Americans like Travis Pastrana and Davi Millsaps. The AX-8 EVO says AGV in the world of
cross-competitive thanks to a product of extremely original design and top-level technical features.
DESIGN
The design is in pure AGV style with an important family feeling at the design level of the front sockets and rear extractors,
which resembles both the road range and the MT-X range. The helmet differs a lot from the other proposals
present on the market today thanks to a shampoo with the immediate aesthetic impact characterized by a large grid
in steel for protection of the very aggressive frontal air intake, element that allows the AX-8 EVO to be always
recognizable during races and regardless of the design of the helmet itself or the conditions of the race
SHELL
The AX-8 EVO is available in 3 outer shell sizes with sizes from XXS to XXXL.The shell has SSL stratified,
Made of Carbon, aramid fibers and Glass Fiber to hold the weight of the helmet and ensure maximum safety.
VENTILATION
The integrated ventilation system IVS is made up of channels obtained directly in the shell that they guarantee
a more efficient airflow inside the helmet and better aerodynamic performance. The air intakes present on the
front, on the visor and on the pelvis allow a constant flow of fresh air inside the helmet. The
Rear extractors, through funnels in EPS, eliminate the hot and humid air from inside the helmet.
INTERNAL
The interior, with hygienic treatment and made of breathable Dri-Lex®, are completely removable and washable,
including the strap cover, so that it always allows a perfect helmet of a helmet that, by nature, is
subjected to extreme use. For the same reason, plastic covers are used for the visor area
soft, which, unlike the fabrics, does not impregnate and are easily washable with the aid of a sponge or a
brush. The interior of the visor opening area has been designed for a perfect fit even with Cross Glasses.
Compared to the ones supplied in the previous version, the AX-8 Evo interior has a larger thickness for one
improved comfort and greater stability in competitive use.
FUNCTIONALITY / SECURITY
The new cut of the helmet in the chin area, combined with a wider and more basic base border than the previous one,
reduces interference with any collar used and reduces the risk of impact trauma due to function
"Shock-absorber". The snout air outlet is easily removable without tools and has dimensions studied to have a
excellent airflow and complete chin protection (in other helmets the chin of the pilot comes out of the shape
of the helmet due to the reduced height of the jacket). Despite the large aperture perceivable through the form
of the outer retina below it there is a robust fiber structure that creates the best compromise between the flow
air and mechanical strength.The AX-8 EVO nozzle air outlet is interchangeable with the AX-8 and AX-8 Dual
EVO. The roof with aluminum screws is easily adjustable thanks to the central plastic screw under the roof. The
the retention system has the DD double closure.
The weight of the helmet is only 1.150 g (+/- 50 g.) In size M.
