The SHOEI VFX series has been the leader in the off-road safety device (DDS) segment for years, thanks to its jagged shape, innovative design and outstanding safety features. SHOEI has adopted a new mechanism for the VFX-WR inner shell for shock absorption MEDS (Motion Energy Distribution System), which is a more technically advanced system than conventional multi-density shell systems. While the outer layers of EPS dissipate the impact, absorbing its energy, an additional central layer of dynamic EPS reduces the rotational energy in the event of an accident. Anchored by a larger central column, the EPS portion swings during impact, allowing the three perimeter columns to absorb energy.The result is a significant reduction in the rotational force exerted on the motorcyclist's head.
The SHOEI VFX-WR will be available in 6 sizes (XS-XXL), produced on 4 different outer shell sizes made of SHOEI AIM+ fiber blend. Of course, the standard features are of a high standard, as expected from every SHOEI shell. The ventilation system is made up of 16 air inlets and extractors to keep the temperature inside the shell cool, optimal comfort is guaranteed by the fully removable and washable 3D Max-Dry interior. This model is also equipped with the well-known emergency release system of the Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS) cheek pads and a large visual window for greater peripheral visibility and for positioning all types of masks on the market.The VFX-WR is the perfect choice for all off-road riders!
