• GORE-TEX MEMBRANE: This precious fabric features important features such as: waterproof waterproofing, high breathability, excellent resistance to toughest temperatures and high wear resistance. The particular microporous structure of GORE-TEX® fabric in expanded PTFE contains about 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor. Thus, while water in liquid form can not penetrate inside the GORE-TEX® membrane, sweat, or water vapor, can easily evaporate. The result is a totally waterproof barrier that allows the boot to be used in all climatic conditions, while ensuring maximum comfort and optimal transpiration.
