Dartwood Waterproof is the motorcycle shoe that combines maximum riding and walking comfort with high levels of certified protection. Dartwood Waterproof is totally waterproof, thanks to the presence of the T-DRY waterproof membrane. The upper is made of full-grain leather, and safety is guaranteed by the presence of reinforcements on the toe and heel and protection on the malleoli with inserts in D3O®, a material which has the ability to stiffen in the event of an impact, thus protecting the foot only when necessary. Safety is also given by the Groundtrax® sole made of wear-resistant rubber which guarantees stability even on slippery ground, traction is facilitated by the particular construction with hexagonal blocks.Maximum protection is guaranteed by the special Zplate® insert made of molded polymer, which combines transversal rigidity for maximum safety and longitudinal flexibility thanks to its Z shape. Zplate® allows the shoe to follow all the natural movements of the foot both in the saddle which during walking, but at the same time protects by avoiding crushing of the shoe itself in the event of impact. The presence of Otholite® insoles allows for long-lasting comfort thanks to both cushioning and breathability. The ease of closure is given by the side zip and lace system, which can be easily stored thanks to the elastic band on the tongue.
