The GP Tech v5 1PC leather suit is designed and optimized for superior aerodynamic performance, ultra-low drag and increased stability, both in the racing position and in a fully leaned-over position when attacking corners. With a strong focus on ergonomics and freedom of movement, this suit allows riders to unlock and exploit the full potential of modern sports and racing motorcycles. Featuring a host of features directly derived from MotoGP, the GP Tech v5 incorporates an entirely new racing pattern construction for an improved and adaptive fit, while still offering advanced abrasion resistance and impact protection.

Technical Data Sheet:

• Constructed from a blend of kangaroo leather and racing cowhide for superior abrasion resistance, with double layers of leather in all high-abrasion areas, including the elbows, forearms, seat, sides, and back. A bonded aramid fiber mesh provides increased cut, tear, and abrasion resistance, as well as significantly reducing heat transfer to the rider's body caused by any friction during a slide on the asphalt. Extended aramid fiber crotch panel for greater rider mobility, with an optimized seam line for high levels of comfort.
• The new upper cut shoulder and collar design features a smooth seam line from the collar to the upper shoulder for maximum rider mobility and reduced neck pressure when in the racing position. New accordion waist design for enhanced ergonomic and aerodynamic performance. Positioned lower for improved functionality, but without extra material, this panel features an innovative 3D pre-tensioned design with a 3D curve on the sides that improves aerodynamic performance by reducing material bulk. The aerodynamic hump is specifically designed for use with the Alpinestars S-R10 helmet for maximum aerodynamic performance when worn together.
• Strategically placed silicone patch on the inner legs for improved grip and contact with the motorcycle fuel tank. Equipped with Alpinestars GP Tech knee slider. Optimized for track use and featuring an anatomical design for optimal contact, even wear distribution and reduced weight, its slim profile with strategically placed hook-and-loop patches and V-cuts allows for more precise positioning on the knee while also preventing material bunching, further improving aerodynamic performance.
• Incorporates a racing cut for a more precise fit. Race-grade leather construction for superior abrasion resistance, further enhanced with a new, strategically placed leather patch on the inner elbow. Extensive perforations for optimal airflow and breathability. A bonded aerodynamic layer on the upper arms and back flattens the material's surface to minimize drag while maintaining superior abrasion resistance and structural strength. Triple seams on the outer legs include a flatlock seam with double stitching all the way to the inside of the suit for increased abrasion and tear resistance.
• The full-length suit liner incorporates integrated padding for increased impact resistance. Stretchable Lycra inserts in strategic areas promote freedom of movement. Pre-curved sleeves with a flexible, tapered wrist design for superior range of motion and an angled zipper to minimize pressure on the wrist. Lightweight, breathable stretch fabric on the lower leg section allows riders to wear the suit over or under the inner boot of an Alpinestars Supertech R boot. Mesh lining for enhanced breathability and comfort.
• According to European statutory law, the CE marking is a conformity requirement for the marketing of this product. The following standards apply to this product: EC Regulation Category II PPE (EU) 2016/425 – Class AAA.
• Nucleon PLASMA Level 2 protection for shoulders, elbows and knees, with GP DFS (Dynamic Friction Shield) RR kit on the elbows, shoulders and knees, for racing-level protection against impacts and abrasions.
• TECH-AIR® READY: The GP Tech v5 is Tech-Air® 7x compatible and features a fully floating installation, complete with front zip connectors. It is also optimized for use with the Tech-Air® 5 and Tech-Air® 10 airbag systems for maximum rider protection.
