The helmet Alpinestars SM3 Fray ECE06 It is a motocross and enduro helmet designed specifically for young and small-sized pilots . Integrates several advanced technologies borrowed from Alpinestars’ adult helmet line, ensuring an optimal blend of performance, protection and comfort.

• Tailor-made fit The helmet is made in three shell sizes ( Youth Small, Youth Medium, Youth Large ) and can be customized with skull pads and cheek pads of different thicknesses. This ensures a perfect anatomical fit for young riders. For riders wearing the Youth Small (YS) size, extensive research was conducted by Alpinestars which showed that 3-4 year olds require a dedicated fit.

• Upper Ventilation : The ventilation system is maximized with 10 air intakes and 7 outlets , ensuring high heat exchange to keep the rider cool and comfortable.

• Eco-sustainable Inner Lining : The inner lining is made with recycled materials , reducing the environmental impact of the product.

• Safe Lock : The closure is at double D made of stainless steel, ensuring a safe and reliable seal.

• Lightness : The weight is approximately 1060g (ECE) , helping to reduce neck strain.

Construction:

• Advanced Thermoplastic Shell The outer shell is made of a technologically advanced, impact-resistant thermoplastic material. The use of a special polymer with varying degrees of thickness ensures optimal protection and remarkable lightness.

• Multi-Density Inner Lining : The EPS (expanded polystyrene) inner liner is multi-density, strategically placed to offer superior impact absorption and reduce overall weight.

Protection:

• Approval : compliant with the standard ECE 22.06 , guarantees a high level of security and certification.

• Protection from Rotational Forces : A special low friction film, patented by Alpinestars, is applied to the inside of the EPS liner to reduce rotational acceleration forces that can occur in the event of oblique impacts. This technology acts as a sliding surface, mimicking the brain's cerebrospinal fluid.

• Patented Visor Release System The visor is designed to release with a predetermined force in the event of an impact, reducing the stress on the rider's neck.

• Emergency Release System (ERS) : The helmet is equipped with an emergency release system that allows the cheek pads to be safely and easily removed while the helmet is still being worn.
