Greater safety on the road: the particularly wide light distribution of the EVO fog light spotlights allows you to "see and be seen" better in case of fog or bad weather. The EVO fog light spotlights are waterproof and dustproof according to the IP69 protection class. The almost completely wear-resistant LEDs used for the premium spotlights ensure optimal vision for years.

For the development of the new EVO fog light spotlights SW-MOTECH looked for a strong partner and relied on the know-how of a leading manufacturer in the automotive sector for a long time. The focus was on a compact shape and compliance with the highest quality standards.

Approval notice

• The spotlights have an ECE test mark (ECE R19 F3). ECE numbers allow an installation without separate approval from a testing institute such as TÜV or DEKRA. The lighting to be installed on the motorcycle is regulated at national level in the Federal Republic of Germany by the StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulation) (§ 52) and at European level by Directive 93/92 EEC on lighting devices and signaling devices on vehicles with two or three wheels.
• These state, among other things, that:
• The white light must illuminate the front and the red light behind, while the yellow light must be used on the sides.
• The installation of one, according to the EC directive two, fog lights is permitted.
• According to the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulation (StVZO), the mounted fog light may be a maximum of 250 mm away from the longitudinal center of the vehicle and may also be mounted on the crash bar.
• The paired lights must be symmetrical with respect to the center of the vehicle and fixed at the same height.
• The brightness of the lamps must be the same.
• The fog lights must not be activated at the same time as the high beam lights.
• The fog lights must not be positioned higher than the dipped beam spotlights.
• You must follow the information contained in the assembly instructions.
• Before purchasing the product, you must check the approval regulations in force in the respective country.
