Protection in the palm of the hand All vital contact points of these gloves are in drum-dyed goatskin, tanned and coated to make the palm of the Metis 2 durable, water repellent and abrasion resistant, without altering sensitivity, breathability and skin grip. In this way, the dexterity and control of the levers is second to none and, in slides on the track, a rigid TPU palm slider significantly reduces the risk of injury.From fingertips to wrist The full coverage design of the Metis 2 gloves eliminates skin exposure at the cuffs and is double secured by hook and loop straps. Rigid TPU inserts protect the knuckles, while Temperfoam® along the fingers offers impact protection, without restricting movement. Plus, touch-screen compatible fingertips on the palms and fingertips help you stay connected – an innovation that could potentially save your life, or at least save your skin when you find yourself running late.
