The R1R, derived from MotoGP experience, features a dynamic design, designed and developed in Italy with the most advanced digital tools, and rigorous testing by KYT riders to ensure top-of-the-range performance. It boasts improved aerodynamics thanks to over three years of wind tunnel testing and numerous road and track tests to optimize fluid dynamics in various riding positions—straight, hard braking, and cornering—to give the rider maximum comfort. It boasts a 90- and 210-degree vertical and peripheral field of vision, respectively, breathable “Hydrocool Textile” fabrics, a visor mechanism with a rototranslation system, and a “Racing Lock System” visor locking mechanism in metal alloy, the most stringent used by MotoGP riders. The R1R is the ideal helmet for the road and the track.

Safety:

• Shell made of TRI-fiber composite, which allows for a lighter yet more protective shell. The outer shell is made of tricarboco fiber, a mix of aramid, carbon, and fiberglass.

• The design has been specifically studied to allow a continuous flow of air, guaranteeing excellent ventilation inside the helmet and rapid exhaust of hot air.

• The interior is made of high-quality Hydrocool fabric, a fabric that allows for rapid heat dissipation and maintains a pleasant feeling of cool and dry.
• The cheek pads and inner liner are completely removable and washable.
