A casual jacket with detachable membrane for urban riders in mild/rainy to warm conditions.
The Racoon is suitable for mild/rainy to warm riding conditions with its detachable Raintex ML membrane that can be easily zipped out. Perfect for riders who like a 3-layer construction for its versatility but never use a thermal liner. This also improves the fit compared to a 3-layer jacket with its zipped out thermal liner.
Its Raintex ML membrane is comfortable on the skin as it is laminated directly against the mesh fabric. For warmer days we have fitted ventilation zips on the arms and an air outlet on the back so that the air can effectively pass through and cool the body.
It also features Air Scoop™, which is a unique layered structure in the membrane itself, similar to roof shingles, that allows air to pass through the membrane to provide increased ventilation without sacrificing waterproofness.
This jacket features our Easy Cuff™; a system that uses a zipper, rather than loops and snaps, to keep everything in place. This ingenious feature connects the membrane or removable liner to the jacket and therefore prevents your hand, wrist or watch from getting caught when putting the jacket on or taking it off.
Other in-house developed differentiators include the Belt Loop™ (to prevent the jacket from riding up in a fall) and the Hoodie Holder™; a holder where the hood can be anchored to prevent it from flapping. If you like the look or are expecting a local downpour after parking, this is the perfect alternative to the full hood zip. Our Zip Grip™ is featured at the bottom of the main zipper for easy closure when wearing gloves.
Our Level 1 RISC™ impact protection is present at the shoulders and elbows. A RISC™ back protector is available separately and can be easily stored in the dedicated compartment. Be sure to check the sizing chart before purchasing one.
