Further development of our ultimate direct laminate jacket, developed for adventure and touring riders in all conditions.
The Ultimax 2.0 is an all-season adventure touring jacket designed for all riding conditions. The Raintex waterproof membrane is directly laminated, which prevents the outer layer from absorbing water and becoming soggy and cold, and the thermal liner is detachable. Directly laminated garments also dry much faster than other waterproofing methods.
This jacket features a double front zip, with both zips slightly off-centre and positioned one behind the other, creating a zig-zag construction with the waterproof flap for added waterproofing.
There is also a deployable hood that is worn under the helmet and allows for a fully waterproof connection between the helmet and the jacket. The storm hood prevents water from entering the jacket through the collar.
The Ultimax 2.0 also features two waterproof Aqua Stop ventilation zippers at the front, an air outlet at the back and a connection zipper at the back to connect to trousers (Ultimax).
Reflection is present on the sides in the form of discreet Side Eye™ accents. Critical areas are extra reinforced with synthetic nubuck, a leather fabric often used to reinforce the palms of gloves.
This jacket features our Easy Cuff™, a system that uses a zipper, rather than rings and snaps, to keep everything in place. This ingenious specification connects the detachable layers together and prevents your hand, wrist or watch from getting caught when putting on or taking off the jacket.
A series of loops called Electric Power Guide™ are present inside the jacket. This allows you to pass the power cables through the sleeves with full freedom of movement and without bulk on the wrists.
Additionally, this jacket is Thermax™ ready, meaning you can fit a Thermax™ heated jacket like our Nucleo or Nuclea inside.
Other in-house developed differentiators include the Quick Access Puller™ that allows quick and easy access to the internal chest pocket. The Coat Hanger™ on the back is durable as it has been developed to actually support the weight of a motorcycle jacket.
On the lower left arm we have inserted a card pocket in the outer shell to store an access card or other means of identification or payment to minimize the time wasted at mandatory stops such as motorway toll booths.
Both the shoulders and elbows are protected by our CE level 2 RISC™ protectors. This jacket is also prepared for numerous safety upgrades such as back and chest protectors, a high-visibility vest that does not interfere with the jacket and a Vision 2C LED light that fits on the upper back.
