Diamond isthe innovative and revolutionary helmet developed by UFO PLAST technicians, made after a long and careful research aimed at reaching the maximum level of protection and comfort, using the most advanced technologies and the most precious materials to protect and make driving more comfortable of off-road riders.

DCS - Diamond Concept Shell
The Diamond outer shell and its original diamond design, designed to optimize the shell structure so as to maximize shock absorption and dissipation, has been built with the most modern technologies and is composed of a high percentage of carbon ( over 60%) and Aramid fiber to maximize performance and minimize weight.

RIAS - Rotation Impact Absorbing System is the revolutionary technology of the Diamond helmet: the structure of the helmet, in addition to dissipating shocks due to absorption in compression such as traditional helmets (linear impact), combines an innovative technology that dissipates the energy associated with the rotational acceleration (rotational impact), reducing tension and providing additional protection in some types of impact. This is possible thanks to the combined work of the different layers of material used: main inner shell, made of high density EPS, characterized by an external surface (the one in contact with the outer shell) very compact and rigid.The inner surface has wide grooves that offer a double function: they guarantee a greater air flow and allow to differentiate the dissipation of the impacts, in fact, as if the main layer had two different densities.
Oscillating inner shell, made of low density expanded polypropylene (PPE) to provide progressive absorption, designed to rotate inside the helmet, working in combination with the main inner shell. This system allows a multidirectional sliding which allows to dissipate also the energy associated to the rotational acceleration, so as to improve the protection in case of rotational impact.

LEAS - Limited Extension Anti Shock
The Diamond Helmet is equipped with protections in expanded material: one positioned in the lower part of the chin guard, the other located in the back at the base of the neck. This advanced protection system represents an important advance in the containment of the anterior and posterior flexion of the neck and in the dissipation of the impact in the event of a fall. The system can work in combination with modern neck braces.

SVS - Sliding Visor System
UFO PLAST has also devised an exclusive visor adjustment system, integrating a sliding flap in the central part that allows the visor length to be adjusted even when moving.

The Diamond Helmet is also equipped with the complex AES Ventilation System - Airflow Extraction System: in the high front, under the visor, you can see the three large air intakes that in combination with other 4 slots placed immediately under the face seal, convey fresh air directly into the shell. The EPS interior is channeled for a perfect distribution of the air flow that is conveyed and extracted from four large extractors positioned in the rear part of the shell: two in the upper part, and two more in the lower part. This system guarantees perfect air extraction and optimal heat dissipation.

The Diamond Helmet can be completely disassembled to facilitate maintenance and cleaning: all the components are fixed with Torx aluminum screws (T8).

The interior, fixed to the helmet by press-studs, is made of precious and breathable materials and offers excellent comfort. The internal padding is easy to dismantle and completely removable, to allow it to be washed and guarantee perfect hygiene.

ECPR - Emergency Cheek Pads Removing
The cheek pads are equipped with a quick release system for emergencies. This allows the cheek pads to be removed with the helmet worn, allowing for easier removal of the helmet in the event of an accident.

Retention system
The Diamond helmet is equipped with a chin strap closure system with double D closure in anodized aluminum, with 25 mm tubular tape, complete with magnetic-locking closing button.The closure tape also offers a comfortable length-adjustable padding.
