Quad Lock QLP-360-SB Suction Cup Base

The Quad Lock 360™ Suction Cup Base is a repositionable mounting solution designed to mount smartphones, action cameras, and other compatible devices to smooth, non-porous surfaces. Ideal for use in cars, off-road vehicles, campers, boats, and light aircraft, it uses a suction system with a locking and unlocking lever that allows for adhesive-free attachment, removal, and repositioning. The fiberglass-reinforced nylon construction ensures durability, while the suction cup offers a load capacity of up to 1.2 kg and is temperature resistant from -10°C to +50°C. Integrable with Quad Lock 360™ modular components, it allows for customized configurations by choosing arms and support heads based on your needs.

Compatibility

• Compatible with Quad Lock 360™ ARM and Quad Lock 360™ HEAD.

• Can be used directly with the Quad Lock 360™ Action Camera Head, without the need for an additional arm.

• With all other Quad Lock 360™ heads, an intermediate arm must be used to ensure sufficient clearance for the locking lever to operate.

• Support arms and heads available for purchase separately.

• Not compatible with the Quad Lock Dash Pad for dashboard mounts, due to the size of the base.

Compatible Surfaces

• Glass and smooth, non-porous plastics, such as polycarbonate (PC) and acrylic, including windshields.

• Metal and steel with smooth, liquid or powder coating.

• Fiberglass with gelcoat or marine paint coating.

• Flat or slightly curved surfaces with a radius of curvature greater than 1 meter.

Surfaces Not Recommended

• Heavily curved surfaces with a radius of curvature less than 1 meter.

• Leather, fabric and unsealed wood.

• Rough, porous or textured surfaces.

• Coatings and paints with a soft-touch finish.

Applications and Limitations

• Suitable for cars, 4x4 vehicles, off-road vehicles, campers, caravans and boats.

• Suitable for use on light aircraft up to an altitude of 10,000 feet (approximately 3,048 metres).

• Designed for low vibration applications.

• Not recommended for motorcycles, scooters and quads/ATVs.

• Not recommended for installations subject to high vibration or continuous exposure to atmospheric agents.

Installation and Use

• Clean the application surface with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely before assembly.

• Make sure the suction cup and surface are free of dust and dirt.

• Place the base on the desired surface and lower the lever to activate the lock.

• Lift the lever to release the suction cup and reposition the mount.

• Install the device in a location that does not obstruct visibility or the vehicle's safety systems, including airbags.
