This legacy continues with the Sand 5 H2O trousers. A design for the future The Sand 5 H2O trousers have a slightly more speed-oriented character than the more casual Sand 4. Adventure bikes are becoming increasingly sporty and dynamic, and the Sand 5 H2O trousers reflect this shift in the industry. Thanks to this new design, we were able to include concealed ventilation panels on the front of the thighs and adjustable calf straps. The materials used are of the highest quality, ensuring that the Sand 5 H2O trousers can handle any adventure. The Over and Under Concept We’ve taken our over and under waterproof liner concept and applied it to our Sand 5 H2O pants. The detachable liner can be worn over or under the CE-certified shell, depending on your personal preference, to keep the rain out and stay dry. The waterproof liner, made from resilient hydratex 3L material, features reinforcements on the seat and inside of the knees for durability. Additionally, due to the over-under construction, the waist of the main pants, the shell, features a belt buckle and a strategically placed stretch insert in the center front of the pants for comfort when seated. The removable RWL waterproof layer features a snap with two-position adjustment. For added warmth and comfort on cold, rainy days, a detachable thermal liner is also included.
