The carbon fiber shell is available in two sizes, as are the EPS foam inner padding, and is compatible with all modern neck braces. The design is sleek and aggressive, a unique blend of European and American styles. Every detail has been optimized for maximum performance and ease of use, both in racing and training. For example, the air vents are screwed to the shell and can be removed for cleaning and maintenance. The peak attaches to the shell without screws, for easy handling and a clean, aerodynamic look.
The shell design is also engineered for perfect goggle strap placement, with a thicker seal around the area helping to improve grip. The front opening is designed to offer a wider field of vision and makes the helmet compatible with all large goggles.
For safety, the helmet features a lightweight double-D chin strap made of red anodized aluminum. The removable, hypoallergenic, breathable, and washable inner padding is made of soft-touch fabrics that offer excellent breathability. The helmet also includes the new ACS (Acerbis Comfort System), which uses elastic bands and small rubber suction cups for a better fit and ventilation on the top of the head.
Ventilation is top-notch, with 4 air intakes and 6 exhaust vents. The cheek pads have a new attachment system for easier removal, as well as silicone logos on the padding to help identify the release points. The helmet also features a Quick Release System for quick removal in an emergency.
