Akrapovic E-B13E1 Racing Motorcycle Collectors Bmw R1300 GS
Manufactured from high-grade titanium with a carbon fibre heat shield, this exhaust system is designed exclusively for closed-circuit use. Designed to improve performance and reduce weight, it features larger diameter pipes than the stock system and the removal of the catalytic converter, ensuring improved exhaust flow.
The pre-muffler delivers a unique sound experience, with a deep and sporty tone that enhances the character of the boxer engine. The result is an incredible weight reduction of 54.84% (3.4 kg) compared to the original system.
Combined with the titanium Slip-On Line silencer, this upgrade increases power by 3.1 kW (4.2 hp) at 7,800 rpm and torque by 5.9 Nm at 3,000 rpm, as demonstrated by Akrapovic dyno tests on a BMW R 1300 GS with the standard system.
Installation is simple and immediate thanks to the plug-and-play system, but it is necessary to remap the control unit. On Euro5+ motorcycles equipped with two lambda sensors, installing the optional manifold will cause the engine warning light to appear due to the detection of different parameters compared to the standard catalytic converter.
