Designed for the world's most challenging terrain, the Tech-Air® Off-Road is an FIM-approved airbag system specifically designed for Rally and Enduro riding. Developed in Dakar since 2017, it offers advanced CE Level 1 airbag protection for the chest, back, shoulders, collarbones and neck. Integrated with an Alpinestars Off-Road protective jacket featuring CE Level 2 passive chest protection and CE Level 1 passive protectors at the back, elbows and shoulders, the Tech-Air® Off-Road system offers high-level protection and impact resistance. With ENDURO, RALLY and STREET riding modes, it is designed for every off-road and on-road scenario.

• The dual-charge system allows two airbags to be deployed separately: only one of the two inflators is activated in each accident.
• User-replaceable gas inflators (where local laws allow).
• Completely autonomous: accelerometers and gyroscopes integrated inside the control unit: no external sensors are needed.
• 30-hour battery life, USB-C charging port on LED display; fully charged in 4 hours, recharged in 1 hour for 8 hours of use.
• Automatic activation by closing the zipper; deactivation by opening the zipper.
• The shipping mode slide switch disconnects the battery during transport or long-term storage (accessible via rear guard).
• The removable control unit and airbag allow for easy washing of the protective jacket.
• The integrated CE-certified Nucleon CELL back protector houses the Tech-Air® Off-Road system’s ECU and cylinders.
• Compatible with all Alpinestars Tech-Air® Ready jackets or any suitable motorcycle jacket.
• The ECU is sealed for all-weather use; it operates from -10°C to +50°C and is ECE R10 04 approved.
• The jacket is made of stretchy, breathable mesh to ensure comfort, ventilation and close-fitting protection.
• Ergonomic slim fit with side zip for full chest coverage and improved mobility.
• Compatible with hydration bladder (supports capacities from 1.5 to 3 liters, holder included).
• Bluetooth connectivity for firmware updates, system monitoring and route tracking via the Tech-Air® app.

Protection :

• Approved according to FIM Cross Country Rally regulations.
• Proven protection, more than twice that of passive impact protectors.
• Two gas cylinders that allow two deployments each; the airbag is certified for up to four deployments before needing to be replaced (unless damaged).
• Average inflation time 52 ms (variable according to size).
• CE Level 1 airbag coverage: chest, back, shoulders, collarbones and neck.
• The airbag provides protection to the neck by inflating around it, in accordance with FIM standards.
• Not compatible with any neck brace, including the Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support (BNS).
• Fully certified according to Dolomiticert protocols for ENDURO, RALLY and STREET performance.
• The jacket's passive chest protection is CE Level 2 certified. The back, elbow, and shoulder protectors are CE Level 1 certified; the elbow and shoulder protectors are replaceable. Honeycomb Nucleon CELL technology on both the chest and back protectors provides lightweight, ventilated, and flexible protection.
