  • The DFC System is the recent innovation developed in the TCX® Research and Development Center, with the aim of offering an excellent balance between flexibility and protection. The structure is made up of a special polyurethane compound which facilitates the natural flexion of the foot/leg back and forth, preventing the risk of torsion of the joint. The system has a polyurethane skeleton, firmly connected to the boot, through two hidden screws, positioned in the heel area, at the height of the malleoli.
  • In the rear part, the system is equipped with two flaps that slide inside special “safety lock” pockets to allow controlled rear flexibility up to 13°, thus preventing the risk of hyperextension of the joint.
  • The polyurethane skeleton has a thin profile and a design designed to adhere perfectly to the shaft; the inside of the boot has a smooth surface, free of grip points and able to offer an excellent level of grip to the bike frame.
  • DFC extensionit is designed to give the boot a high level of protection in the event of an impact; the polyurethane heel is in fact designed to absorb shocks and is equipped with a rear and side magnesium slider to avoid friction and promote natural sliding in the event of a fall. FFC-FASTEN FIT CONTROL (Lacing System)
  • Internal lacing system connected to the boot lining through a fast-running, highly wear-resistant lace. The new tongue design, built in soft padded mesh, enhances comfort. This system allows for maximum wrapping of the upper around the foot, respecting the different anatomies and guaranteeing maximum fit precision and greater sensitivity while riding.

  FRONT FLEX AREA

  • In the front area of the boot, the technology of over-injection of elastic material has been applied. This innovative solution is designed to increase foot hold and offer a high level of comfort and precision fit.

  CLOSING SYSTEM

  • The innovative closure system is positioned on the outer side of the boot. A side band in elastic material is enriched by over-injection technology and combined with a zip to facilitate quick donning and offer an excellent level of comfort in the foot/leg area.
